Healthcare Access and Affordability
Healthcare is a cornerstone of Davon Magwood’s platform. He is committed to expanding access to affordable healthcare for all residents of the 55th district. Davon supports policies that would lower prescription drug costs, protect and expand Medicaid, and ensure that every resident has access to mental health services. He believes that healthcare is a fundamental human right and that no one should have to choose between paying for healthcare and other essential needs. Davon also advocates for increased funding for rural healthcare facilities, ensuring that even the most remote areas of the district have access to quality medical care.
