Fighting corruption, lowering costs, and taking on special influence is one of my top priorities. I will continue to try and fix a broken system in Washington that rewards big corporations, executives, and the wealthy elite at the expense of working people.
To lower healthcare costs, I helped force a vote to extend the Affordable Care Act’s tax credits. I opposed Republican cuts to healthcare and Medicaid that kicked millions off their insurance and closed rural hospitals across the country. I have also previously voted for laws to cap the cost of insulin at $35 a month and lower prescription drug costs. In Congress, I founded the End Corruption Caucus to clean up corruption that’s stealing billions of dollars out of their pockets.”
