“Kentuckians shouldn’t have to drive hours for care, ration their prescriptions, or choose between a medical bill and keeping the lights on while health care corporations make billions. Health care should serve patients, not shareholders. In Congress, I’ll fight to hold insurance companies, pharmaceutical companies, and corporate hospital systems accountable for putting profits ahead of people. That means cracking down on price gouging, lowering prescription drug costs, protecting Medicare and Medicaid, demanding real price transparency, and stopping corporate practices that raise costs without improving care. If corporations are getting richer while Kentucky families struggle to get the care they need, Congress has a responsibility to hold them accountable.”
