“Well, first off, we need to stop the cuts that are going to happen in this big b******t bill that my opponent voted for to cut money from Medicaid to give more money to billionaires. That’s money that belongs to our working families and the resources that they deserve. But we need to go beyond that. We pay more for prescription drugs than anywhere else across the world. And the reason for that is because we have politicians who are brought and paid for by Big Pharma like David Valadao who take their money and who then go do their bidding. So instead I want to fight to make sure we directly negotiate the cost of prescription drugs just like the VA does to bring down costs for families in the central valley and families across the country.”
