Seth Harp

Candidate for U.S. House of Representatives (FL-03)

Seth Harp supports health care policy he’s titled The U.N.I.T.E. Act (Universal National Insurance To Everyone Act).

Here’s the principle behind it: Health care is a right.

No American should have to choose between seeing a doctor and paying the rent. No family should face financial ruin because someone gets sick. And no one should have to stay in a job they hate just because they’re afraid of losing their health insurance. The U.N.I.T.E. Act would create a universal, single-payer health care system so every American has access to the care they need. That means doctor visits, hospital care, prescriptions, preventive care, and essential treatment would be available to everyone — regardless of income, employment, or where they live. Your health care should be based on what you need, not what an insurance company is willing to approve. We already know how to guarantee health coverage to millions of Americans through Medicare. It’s time to make sure every American has that same security. The U.N.I.T.E. Act. Health care for ALL.
