Wendy Morgan

Candidate for Pennsylvania House of Representatives (PA-86)

I would expand upon the No Surprises Act and Pennsylvania’s Act 112 by mandating that non-emergency medical service providers create an estimate 24 hours before services are provided which will show expected procedures, labs, etc. and the amount insurance (if applicable) and clients are expected to pay. If the final bill exceeds the estimate by $500 dollars, then the providers/insurance will be responsible for the difference.

However, the above would only be necessary if universal healthcare is not passed, such as HB2763. As an elected official I would support a system where every Pennsylvania resident is guaranteed basic medical coverage through a state sponsored healthcare system.
